DB Productions has been associated with every major national, social and
corporate event in Barbados and across the Eastern Caribbean for the past
twenty-five years. Our creative services range from Set Design and
Construction, Stages, Stage Lighting, Stage Management, Conference Support
and Fireworks to Lasers and other Special Effects.
Over the years our production team has produced exceptional designs at
various events. Our range of productions include fire works and lasers at
the inaugural Heroes Day Celebrations, major North American trade shows in
New York, Minneapolis, Toronto, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Local and
regional dinner shows, cultural events such as Holder's Season of Opera, The
Annual Barbados Jazz Festival, the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Gala, Ernst and
Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, and Crop Over. We have also
created set designs and built stages for performances by international
recording artists such as Air Supply, Boyz II Men, Brian Mc Knight, Earth
Wind & Fire, Pavarotti, Luther Vandross, Englebert Humperdinck, Ray Charles,
Lou Rawls, Kenny G and Gladis Knight.
Our major highlights include co-ordinating aspects of official visits to
Barbados by foreign dignitaries and Heads-of-State such as president Fidel
Castro of Cuba, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family. Other highlights
include the national tributes to sporting heroes such as the Right
Honourable
Garfield St. Aubyn Sobers, Charlie Griffith and Obadele Thompson.
Our technicians are experienced and highly trained in all aspects of
theatrical production and staging. Our equipment meets the highest
professional standards. We constantly upgrade our equipment to reflect the
latest technical developments and changing industry standards. We have been
appointed dealers for Leprecon and Luna Tech products and Total Structures.
We use reputable UL approved brands such Lycian, ETC, Martin, Le Maitre,
